What is Dailyguessr?
DailyGuessr is a free daily geography game that drops every player into the same 360° street-level panorama. Your task is to figure out where in the world the photo was taken by placing a pin on a world map.
How to play Dailyguessr
Study the panorama for visual clues, then click or tap on the world map to place your guess. You get five guesses total, and after your first guess you see the distance in kilometres; from the second guess onward, a direction arrow shows which way to adjust.
Tips & strategy
- Look for language on signs, architecture, vegetation, terrain, and license plates to narrow down the region.
- Pay attention to which side of the road traffic drives on — it can be a quick regional hint.
- Use the map zoom to place your pin as precisely as possible; closer guesses earn more points.
- After your first guess, use the distance and direction arrow to move your next pin instead of guessing randomly.
- If you are totally lost, consider the biome and climate visible in the panorama before committing.
