What is Farhike?

Farhike is a free daily geography game that presents one expedition of five prompts, each asking for a country that fits a condition such as a landlocked country in South America or a country whose flag has orange in it. For each prompt, players drop one pin on a world map; the fewer other players choose the same country, the more distance that pin adds to the daily climb.

How to play Farhike

Press Start expedition to see the first prompt and a 60-second timer. Tap a country on the map or search for it by name, then tap it again or press Drop pin to lock it in. After five pins, the game reveals every correct answer and how many players chose each; a new expedition starts at midnight in your local time zone, with one try per day.

Tips & strategy

  • Skip the first country that comes to mind; most players will pin that common answer too.
  • Look for small countries and island nations — microstates such as San Marino or Tuvalu are often valid but rarely chosen.
  • Remember overseas territories: a pin on French Guiana counts as France, and a pin on Greenland counts as Denmark.
  • Use the search box for countries that are hard to tap accurately on a phone.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a right answer?

Any country that fits the prompt. Prompts have between 8 and 60 right answers, built from published country data. Overseas territories count for the country that governs them, so Greenland counts as Denmark.

How is scoring determined?

Every correct answer falls into one of five rarity tiers, from Common to Trailblazer, worth 30 to 100 km. The fewer players who chose the same country, the more distance it earns. A wrong country or an empty pin is a Miss and adds nothing.

Can I play more than once a day?

The daily expedition is one try per day. Farhike Unlimited offers extra five-prompt expeditions as often as you like, with or without the clock, and does not affect your daily streak.

When does the daily expedition reset?

A new expedition starts at midnight in your time zone.

Is Farhike free?

Yes, the daily expedition is free to play. Farhike Unlimited is an additional option for players who want more than one expedition a day.
