Name a place. The more obscure your answer, the deeper your worm digs.
BagTag
What is BagTag?
Bag Tag is a free daily geography game that asks you to locate airports on a satellite map. Each round shows an airport, and your job is to tap where you think it is; the closer your guess, the more points you earn. There are 5 rounds per challenge, plus a Practice Mode.

Perfect little five-round break that fits right between meetings, and the streak keeps me coming back daily.

A globe-trotter’s delight: pinning airports on satellite maps scratches that itch to prove you really know the world.

Five rounds, a daily streak, and a shareable score — just enough structure to make me want to max out every single day.

A cleverly worded challenge that rewards precise placement — the map is the clue, and I’m happy to parse it.
How to play BagTag
You get an airport and a satellite map with pan and zoom controls. Scroll, pinch, or drag the map, then click or tap to place your guess. After you submit, the game reveals the actual airport, your distance, and your points before moving to the next round.
Tips & strategy
- Zoom in before placing your guess so you can aim for a precise spot rather than a broad region.
- Use the airport code, if shown, to narrow down the country or region first.
- Look for natural boundaries such as coastlines, rivers, or mountain ranges to anchor your location.
- Major international airports are often near large cities, so urban patterns on the satellite map can be a clue.
- If you are unsure, pick a regional center or known transportation hub instead of a random spot.
