Country Draw
What is Country Draw?
Country Draw is a daily geography challenge that asks you to reconstruct a hidden country's border on a real map. The target area is removed, leaving surrounding countries, coastlines, and a capital marker as context. It also includes practice modes for specific countries and regional maps.
How to play Country Draw
Each round removes one geographic outline from the map. You sketch the missing boundary using the surrounding borders and capital marker as clues, then submit your drawing. The game compares your shape to the real border, highlighting matched, missed, and extra areas.
Tips & strategy
- Estimate the overall northern, southern, eastern, and western limits of the target before drawing any detailed bends.
- Use the capital marker as a positional anchor to help place the country correctly.
- Identify one or two key anchors, such as a peninsula, long coast, or a corner where several neighbors meet.
- Draw a few confident curves and corners rather than trying to capture every small coastal detail on the first pass.
- Switch between Cover mode (for learning) and Capital mode (for a stronger test) depending on your familiarity with the region.
