Quartiles Word
What is Quartiles Word?
Quartiles Word is a free, browser-based word puzzle that challenges players to combine letter segments into words. Inspired by the mechanics of Apple News+ Quartiles, it offers unlimited play with no ads or downloads.
How to play Quartiles Word
Each puzzle presents a grid of tiles, each containing 2–4 letters. Players tap tiles in sequence to build words. The goal is to find all five target words for a bonus, but shorter words also score points. The scoring system rewards longer combinations: 1-segment words earn 1 point, 2-segment words 2 points, 3-segment words 4 points, and 4-segment words 10 points. Finding all five target words adds a 30-point bonus. Reaching 100 points earns a trophy, and a hint system is available when stuck.
Tips & strategy
- Start with practice mode to learn the basics.
- Look for common prefixes and suffixes in the segments.
- Don't ignore short words—they add up quickly.
- Use hints if you're stuck.
