What is Squareword?

Squareword is a calm daily logic-word puzzle: a 5×5 grid where every row must be a real word, and the columns just have to be fillable.

How to play Squareword

Type letters to fill the grid so all five rows are valid words. Each guessed letter shows whether it appears in that row, nudging you toward the solution. There are no guess limits — it's about deduction, not luck.

Tips & strategy

• Lock common column letters (vowels in the middle) to constrain multiple rows.
• Use the per-row letter hints to rule letters in or out quickly.
• Aim for a low guess count once you're confident — it's the real scoreboard.
