What is PokerSolo?

PokerSolo is a daily solitaire card puzzle built around Poker Squares. One shuffled deck is dealt out as 25 cards, and your goal is to arrange them into a 5x5 grid so that every row and column forms a poker hand. All players receive the same set of cards each day, making it a shared daily challenge.

How to play PokerSolo

Each round presents cards one at a time; place the current card into an empty cell in the 5x5 grid. When all 25 cards are placed, each of the five rows and five columns is scored as a five-card poker hand. Try to maximize the total score across those ten hands.

Tips & strategy

• Keep your early placements flexible so you can adapt as the revealed cards change your best possible hands.
• Pay attention to the overlap between rows and columns: a single card can improve or hurt two hands at once.
• Before each placement, check which poker hands are still possible with the cards that remain.
• Build toward broad straight or flush patterns rather than committing to a single exact hand too early.
• Save low-value cards for positions where they will do the least damage to surrounding hands.
