Pinpoint is a LinkedIn daily game: five clue words are revealed one at a time, and you name the category that ties them together — the sooner the better.

How to play Pinpoint

You see one word, then guess the connecting category; each pass reveals another word and narrows the theme. Solving on the first or second clue scores highest.

Tips & strategy

• Hold your guess if the first word is broad — one more clue often clarifies.
• Look for the least obvious shared property, not the surface meaning.
• Categories are usually specific ('types of knots'), so aim narrow.
