What is Meikyu?

Meikyu is a daily dungeon puzzle where you deduce the day's lineup of five residents drawn from a pool of thirty-six. Each guess returns a report telling you which pieces are correctly placed, which are present but misplaced, and which are absent entirely. The game also hides unwritten house rules that carry across days, so the puzzle deepens the more you play.

How to play Meikyu

Each day you have six tries to identify the five residents in their correct slots. After every guess, the game reports whether each piece is in the right slot, present on the floor but standing elsewhere, or not down there at all. Use that feedback to narrow down the lineup before your attempts run out.

• Start with a guess that covers five different residents, since each slot only gives you one piece of information.
• When a resident is confirmed in the right slot, keep it there and vary only the uncertain positions.
• Track your reports across days — the hidden house rules are learned over time, not within a single puzzle.

• If you're stuck, a guess that tests a completely new set of residents can reveal more than a small tweak.
