What is Hexcodle?

Hexcodle shows you a colour swatch and asks you to guess its six-digit hex code in five tries — a tiny daily test for designers and CSS nerds.

How to play Hexcodle

Type a hex code; the game scores how close each digit is and whether the overall guess is too high or low. Adjust the red, green, and blue pairs to match the swatch.

Tips & strategy

• Read the swatch's dominant channel first and anchor that pair.
• Move two hex digits at a time — each pair is one colour channel.
• Use the per-digit closeness to fine-tune rather than restart.
