Jointter
What is Jointter?
Jointter is a daily word puzzle where a hidden word appears as a pattern of dots and lines. The board shows all the dots but only some of the lines that make up the word’s letters. Your goal is to reveal enough of those lines to guess the word.
How to play Jointter
Spell a word using the letter tiles and submit it. The lines that belong to the hidden word turn green and stay on the board, while the rest turn red. You have five attempts, and you can use a hint to reveal more lines at the cost of one attempt.
Tips & strategy
- Use each guess to compare which lines come back green; those lines are part of the hidden word and will remain visible.
- Pay attention to red lines as well — they show patterns that are not part of the hidden word, which can narrow down the letter shapes.
- Don’t rely on dot positions: the dots are spread out evenly and give no clue about the letters.
- Save hints for when you’re stuck, since each hint uses one of your five attempts.
- Expect harder puzzles later in the week, with Sunday’s puzzle being the most challenging.
