What is Gisnep?

Gisnep is a daily quotefall puzzle that challenges you to rearrange scrambled letters into a famous quote. Each column holds a set of letters, and your job is to place them in the right order so the quote reads correctly across the grid. It’s a fresh twist on word puzzles that rewards logic and pattern recognition.

How to play Gisnep

Start the puzzle and click or type letters into the cells above each column. Every letter belongs somewhere in its column, and words wrap around to the next line. Some cells are circled—typing there also fills in the Quote Source below the grid, which can help you confirm the quote’s attribution and check your progress.

Tips & strategy

• Look for common short words first, like 'the,' 'and,' or 'of,' to anchor the quote’s structure.
• Use the circled cells strategically—they reveal letters in the source line, giving you extra confirmation.
• Pay attention to word wrap: a word may continue onto the next row, so don’t assume every line ends a word.
• If you’re stuck, press Check to see if your current placements are correct, but try to solve without it for a bigger challenge.
• Use the Letter Filtering setting to dim letters you’ve already placed, reducing visual clutter.
