Floored
What is Floored?
Floored is a free daily ranking trivia game, described by its maker as a bit like Wordle for ranked lists. Each day you face five ranked lists—such as highest-grossing films or most populous countries—and need to find the item sitting at a target rank.
How to play Floored
Each rank is treated as a floor, so floor 1 is #1 on the list. Guess any item you think appears on the list, and the elevator carries you to that item's floor, revealing whether the target is higher or lower. Keep guessing until you land on the exact target floor, aiming to do it in as few guesses as possible.
Tips & strategy
- Start with a famous item you're confident is on the list; hitting the exact floor on your first guess earns an Express.
- After each guess, ignore everything above your current floor or below it, and focus only on items that could sit between your guess and the target.
- Use your knowledge of how ranked lists usually order well-known entries to estimate which part of the list your target is in.
- If you can't land exactly, remember that a close guess still scores some points, so try to recall items near the target's neighbourhood.
