Disordle
What is Disordle?
Disordle is a daily medical puzzle game where players diagnose a patient's disorder based on signs, symptoms, diagnostics, medications, and therapies. Each guess reveals overlapping features with the answer, and the goal is to identify the unifying disorder. The game is intentionally difficult, with a large pool of over 2000 disorders.
How to play Disordle
You are presented with a patient case and must guess a disorder. After each guess, the game shows how features overlap across four categories: Signs & Symptoms, Diagnostics, Medications, and Therapies. Features are ranked by specificity to the disorder. A proximity percentage indicates how close your guess is in feature space. You can use one hint per puzzle to reveal the closest untried disorder, but it scores as 0% and removes your unused guess bonus.
Tips & strategy
- Focus on highly specific features (e.g., hemoptysis over cough) to narrow down possibilities.
- Use the hint only if truly stuck, as it reduces your score potential.
- Consider that a strong feature association doesn't guarantee causation; partial hearing loss could be linked to contact dermatitis weirdly.
- Start with broad guesses to see which categories have strong overlaps, then refine.
- Pay attention to the mix of symptoms and diagnostics to differentiate similar disorders.
