Beamzag
What is Beamzag?
Beamzag is a daily logic puzzle about directing a laser beam across a grid. You place and rotate mirrors to light every gem and guide the beam into a green socket. Each puzzle has exactly one solution and a fixed tray of mirrors that must all be used.

A lovely little daily time-killer that fits perfectly in a coffee break, and the practice boards are a nice way to poke around.

The exact mirror count and single-solution design are elegant, though Sunday's twin-laser twist is where the real fairness test begins.
How to play Beamzag
Tap a cell to place a mirror, tap again to flip it, and tap a third time to clear it. The beam travels from the laser, bounces off mirrors, lights the gems it passes, and stops at walls; the puzzle is solved when every gem is lit and the beam ends in the green socket. You can also play with keyboard: arrows move, Enter places or flips a mirror, and U, R, and H undo, reset, or hint.
Tips & strategy
- Trace the laser's starting path first and look for gems that can only be lit by placing a mirror in a specific cell.
- Work backward from the green socket to figure out which final mirror orientation could send the beam into it.
- Remember that every mirror in the tray must be used—if a placement leaves a mirror with no useful position, rethink that part of the solution.
- On Sunday Twin puzzles, focus on one laser at a time before trying to reconcile both beams in the shared tray.
- If you're stuck, use the in-game hint button rather than guessing blindly.
