WikiRNG
What is WikiRNG?
WikiRNG is a daily game that hands you one random Wikipedia article and asks how rare it is. Each day, a single article is drawn from a pool of more than 7.2 million, and players score its obscurity based on the article's traits. The game assigns a score in SP and a set of tags describing properties like whether the subject is off-world, lunar, or Earth-bound, whether the title is short or disambiguated, whether the article exists in multiple languages, or whether its ID has seven digits. Players can sign in to save their daily roll, compare results on a leaderboard, and connect with friends.
How to play WikiRNG
Each day, one random Wikipedia article is selected from the full encyclopedia. Roll to reveal it, then check how rare your draw is compared to the rest of the site's players. Signing in saves your roll so you can track results and see how your obscurity score stacks up on the leaderboard and among friends.
Tips & strategy
- There's no skill involved — every roll is pure chance, so the fun is in seeing what obscure corner of Wikipedia you land on.
- Pay attention to the tags attached to your roll; they hint at what made your article rare or unusual.
- Roll early in the day to lock in your score before the daily reset.
