ToneWren
What is ToneWren?
ToneWren is a daily ear-training game where you listen to notes and identify them by name. Each day presents five notes, and you pick each one from the chromatic scale. The game also includes a composer-themed progression system with points and titles.

Five notes a day is a tiny riff, but hearing the note before naming it is the hook that keeps my ears coming back.

Perfect little break-sized challenge: five notes, replay them all you like, no account, done before your stop.

A daily ear test that resets at UTC, so wherever you are on the map you're sharing the same five notes.

I'd stay for the credits — the composer journey adds a deep-cut layer to what could've been a plain quiz.
How to play ToneWren
A note plays, and you choose its name from the 12 chromatic options, C through B, including sharps. You can replay the note as often as you like before answering, and you get one answer per note. After five notes, you get a score out of 5, and a new challenge resets at 00:00 UTC.
Tips & strategy
- Replay each note several times before committing to your answer.
- Use keyboard shortcuts if available: press C through B to answer, Shift for sharps, Space to replay, and Enter to move to the next note.
- Play the daily challenge consistently; a regular ear-training routine may help you improve note recognition.
- If you want extra practice after the daily challenge, try the unlimited practice mode.
- Save a fresh progress link after playing or renaming your Wren to keep your streak and points on another device.
