What is Semantle?

Semantle is the original semantic word hunt: instead of letters, you chase the meaning of a hidden word using a similarity score derived from how words are used together.

How to play Semantle

Each guess returns a similarity percentage (and, when you're close, a 'getting hot' rank). There's no limit on guesses — you simply follow the warmth, pivoting toward related concepts until the score spikes to 100.

Tips & strategy

• Throw out words from several different topics first to find a warm direction.
• A jump in similarity means you're near a concept — explore around it.
• Don't fixate on one sense of a word; the answer may live in a different meaning.
