Roster Relay is a daily puzzle that challenges you to connect two professional athletes through chains of real teammates. Each day features a new relay for MLB, NBA, and NFL players. The goal is to link the starting player to the target player using shared team histories.
How to play Roster Relay
You are given a starting player and a target player. You must build a chain where each consecutive pair of players were teammates on the same team at the same time. Submit your chain to see how it compares, aiming for the shortest possible route or the rarest one.
Tips & strategy
- Think about famous teams and dynasties that had many players overlap, as they provide dense connection points.
- Consider players who had long careers and played for many teams, as they act as effective bridges between franchises.
- Start by looking for a direct connection between the two players before branching out into longer chains.
- Remember that trades and free agency often create unexpected links between different franchises.
- If you're stuck, try routing through a well-known veteran who played for multiple teams.
