Pokle
What is Pokle?
Pokle is a daily logic puzzle built around Texas Hold'em poker. Each puzzle asks you to deduce the five community board cards from three players' hands and a table showing how their hands rank at the flop, turn, and river.
How to play Pokle
Start by examining the three player hands and the Ranking Table, which lists player ranks at each street. Choose five cards as your guess for the board; green marks a correct card, while yellow marks a card that has either the correct rank or correct suit (but not both). Use the clues and the game's 'no kickers' rule to narrow down the single valid solution.
Tips & strategy
- Treat the flop as a set rather than an ordered list: order within the flop does not matter.
- Use the Ranking Table to see which board cards would change a player's hand around the turn or river.
- Remember that every board rank must be part of a significant hand (pair, two pair, three/four of a kind), so ranks that never appear in a player's made hand are unlikely.
- If only the suit of a turn or river card is uncertain, rely on the autocorrect feature: it will fix a wrong suit and still count a correct solution as a win.
- Correct guesses are carried over, but you can change them if later feedback contradicts them.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pokle free to play?
Yes, it's a browser-based daily game available at poklegame.com.
When does a new puzzle come out?
A new puzzle is released daily at midnight.
How does the yellow feedback work?
Yellow means the guessed card has the correct rank or the correct suit, but not both. The game's examples explain edge cases such as when a rank has already been guessed correctly.
What happens if I get the right solution but misguess a suit?
If the only errors are the suits of the turn and/or river, the game autocorrects those suits and counts the puzzle as a win.
Does Pokle use kickers on the board?
No. The rules state that board card ranks always come from the significant cards in a player's made hand, not from kickers.
