What is Pokekrill?

Pokekrill is a daily Pokemon quiz game inspired by Krillion. Each round presents seven Pokemon-related questions, and players score points by guessing rare answers rather than obvious ones. It is an unofficial fan game, not affiliated with The Pokemon Company or Krillion.

Editor takes
A daily quiz that dares you to ignore the obvious answer; with 30 seconds and free guesses, it's less about speed and more about how deep your Pokémon knowledge really goes.

The ranking tiers turn every question into a clever clue, and the grace for close spellings shows real respect for players who type fast but fumble the punctuation.
Etta · The Wordsmith
Hunting that single golden Champion answer per question is the true endgame, and chasing a 650-plus score to reach Arceus is pure completionist catnip.

The journey from the sea to the Hall of Origin is a lovely way to tie answers to the wider world, though I'd love to see more of the regions along the route.

How to play Pokekrill

You get seven new questions every day, with 30 seconds per question. Type in your answer; close spellings count and filler words like “City” or “Professor” can be skipped. Wrong guesses are free, so you can keep trying different answers until the timer runs out.

Tips & strategy

  • Avoid the most obvious answer if you can, since rarer answers score significantly more points.
  • Don't be afraid to guess wrong: wrong guesses cost nothing and can help you narrow down the answer.
  • Aim for a daily score of 650 or more out of 700 to reach Arceus.
  • Use practice runs with random questions to get comfortable with the format before your daily attempt.
  • Remember that close spellings count, so you don't need to be perfect as long as your intent is clear.
