PIVOT
What is PIVOT?
PIVOT is a free daily tile puzzle where the answer word is shown up front and the challenge is figuring out the path to spell it. Each day presents the same four-letter word to all players, and the goal is to arrange its tiles into the gold center row.
How to play PIVOT
Tap any pivot dot to rotate the four letters around it clockwise. Rotate the 2x2 tile blocks until the gold center row spells the word. Each rotation counts as one move, and fewer moves is better.
Tips & strategy
- Start by deciding where each letter needs to end up in the gold row, then plan your rotations backwards from that goal.
- Use the practice or solo custom mode to experiment freely and undo moves without affecting your daily score.
- Watch how a 2x2 rotation moves all four tiles at once, and try to move pairs of letters into useful positions together.
- On a computer, use arrow keys or WASD to select a pivot and Enter or Space to rotate for faster play.
- If a move disrupts your work, don't be afraid to undo and try a different order of rotations.
