Missing Link is a daily word puzzle built around compound-word chains. Each day presents a seven-word chain, but only the first and last words are shown. Players must fill in the five missing links, where each adjacent pair forms a compound word or common phrase — for example, CUP links to CAKE to form cupcake, and CAKE links to WALK to form cakewalk.

How to play Missing Link
The puzzle can be worked from either end. Guesses are checked automatically as you type, and a wrong word reveals a letter while counting as a miss. Made-up words are free to try without penalty. Optional Clue and Letter helpers are available, but each one also counts as a miss. A Hard mode removes the starting letters and disables all help.
