What is Gridz?
Gridz is a daily crossword-style puzzle that removes the clues entirely. Instead of hints, you fill a grid with words that work across and down, relying on logic and letter patterns. Each day offers three grid sizes: Mini, Main, and Mega.
How to play Gridz
Type or tap the highlighted letter to fill the grid, and the on-screen keyboard highlights letters that appear in the word you're currently working on. You can check or reveal letters, words, or the entire puzzle if you get stuck, with correct letters turning green and wrong ones red. Puzzles ramp in difficulty from Monday to Sunday, and each solve is timed.
Tips & strategy
- Start with common letters and short words to get a foothold in the grid.
- Use the check feature sparingly, since clean solves (no checks or reveals) count toward your streak and leaderboard.
- Try the Mini first as a warm-up before tackling the Main or Mega puzzles.
- Look for repeated letter patterns and common prefixes or suffixes to narrow down possibilities.
- Enable the ghost letters setting to see deleted letters faintly, which can help you recall earlier attempts.
