Name a place. The more obscure your answer, the deeper your worm digs.
Endless Krillion
What is Endless Krillion?
Endless Krillion is a free browser game that rewards obscure correct answers. You're given an open prompt and have 25 seconds to type a single answer; the rarer your answer, the deeper you sink into an ocean-themed scoreboard. This version removes the daily limit, letting you play unlimited rounds and an endless mode that continues one prompt at a time.

Perfect for a coffee break – one prompt, 25 seconds, and you're already sinking, no waiting around.

The scoring is elegantly brutal – but the 25-second clock and refusal system punish hesitation as much as ignorance.
How to play Endless Krillion
A prompt appears and a 25-second clock starts. Type one answer that fits the prompt. Accepted answers are ranked in six tiers based on how common they are among players, from 'plankton' (common) to 'one in a krillion' (unique), and each point you earn sinks you 10 metres deeper. Wrong answers are simply refused and cost you the time you spent.
Tips & strategy
- Go specific: the obvious answer is worth almost nothing, so aim for the smallest, most specific valid example.
- Think sideways: consider niche categories, foreign countries, or technical edge cases that others might overlook.
- Don't rush: answering fast earns no bonus; the clock only decides whether you answer at all, so use the time to think of a rarer answer.
- If you're stuck, a correct but common answer is better than a wrong one, since wrong answers score nothing.
- In Endless mode, manage your three tanks of air—each prompt is a chance to go deeper, so prioritize rare answers over speed.
