What is Contexto?

Contexto is a daily word game with no letters to guess — only meaning. A language model ranks every word by how close it is to the secret answer, and your job is to climb that ranking to number one.

How to play Contexto

Type any word and Contexto tells you its rank: #1 is the answer, while #5,000 is barely related. Use the rank of each guess to steer toward warmer, more closely-related words until you land on the top spot.

Tips & strategy

• Start broad with common nouns to map which themes are warm.
• When a word ranks well, guess its synonyms and close associations next.
• Rank is about context, not spelling — plurals and tenses can score very differently.
