Ceteris
What is Ceteris?
Ceteris is a daily economics guessing game from Everything Econ. Each day, players face a single economics question and must guess which country is the answer.
How to play Ceteris
In Normal mode, wrong guesses are met with geographic feedback: the distance from the correct country, a closeness percentage, and an arrow pointing toward the right answer. These measurements are taken from the centre of each country rather than its capital, so a guess of Russia is measured from Siberia, not Moscow. Feedback is colour-coded — green for hot, orange for warm, red for cold. Hard mode strips away the geographic hints, requiring players to rely on the economics alone. An 'Economics hint' button provides a clue about the country's economy. Players have six guesses before the answer
Tips & strategy
- A new question arrives daily, and streaks reward consistent play — a win streak counts consecutive correct answers, while a separate daily streak survives misses.
- The game includes XP, badges, and trophies, and is part of a broader collection of daily puzzle games from the same publisher.
