What is Centroid?

Centroid is a daily puzzle game where you estimate the center of mass of a set of shapes on a grid. Each day features three rounds of increasing difficulty, testing your spatial intuition.

How to play Centroid

In each round, click on the grid where you think the combined center of mass of all shapes is located. You get one guess per round, and each round is scored out of 10 based on proximity to the correct centroid. Your total score is the sum of all three rounds, with a maximum of 30.

Tips & strategy

  • Look for symmetry in the shape arrangement to approximate the center.
  • Consider the area and distance of each shape from the center.
  • Use the grid lines as reference points for alignment.
  • Practice by visualizing the balance point as if on a seesaw.
  • Focus on the overall shape cluster rather than individual shapes.
